Ranging from global pandemics to everyday health concerns, the World Health Organization (WHO) was founded in 1948 to address these issues. With 194 member states, the organization is at the center in terms of safeguarding public health and promoting well-being worldwide. Through its initiatives, it addresses diverse challenges such as but not limited to, ensuring access to healthcare, supporting disease prevention and enhancing health systems to improve the quality of life for all. Being the driving force for wellbeing the WHO is responsible for setting global health standards; working tirelessly to achieve a version of the world where no one is left without the highest level of attainable health.

Mary is an adventurous and open-minded leader who is passionate about debate and discussions about global health. She ensures that every delegate's voice is heard by bringing energy and inclusivity to the committees she chairs. Her leadership style includes fairness and enthusiasm, creating an atmosphere where viewpoints can be exchanged, ideas can be challenged, and solutions can be developed together. Mary is dedicated to leading delegates toward significant, influential discussions that live out the true, lively spirit of MUN in her role as Chair of WHO.

Mohammad Amaan
A devoted learner with a strong interest in finance, Amaan balances his academic pursuits with a passion for volunteer work and giving back to the community. An avid adventurer, he enjoys exploring new places on foot, constantly seeking fresh perspectives and challenges. Beyond academics, he values meaningful conversations and the connections built through shared experiences. With his enthusiasm for collaboration and discovery, he is eager to serve as Co-Chair of the WHO Committee, guiding delegates toward thoughtful debate and impactful outcomes.
