Cyber Security Council
The Cyber Security Council (CSC), established to address the rising threats of the digital age, serves as a leading body in safeguarding global stability, information integrity, and digital rights. With its mandate to strengthen international cooperation in cyberspace, CSC focuses on combating cybercrime, preventing attacks on critical infrastructure, and ensuring the responsible use of emerging technologies. Through research, policy development, and cross-border collaboration, the council works to support member states in protecting their digital ecosystems and upholding international security.
At MUN, delegates in CSC take on the responsibility of addressing urgent challenges in cyberspace that directly impact global peace and security. This includes debating strategies to prevent state-sponsored cyber warfare, ensuring data protection and privacy, and mitigating risks posed by artificial intelligence and hacking. By fostering international dialogue and building collective resilience, CSC seeks to shape a safer, more secure digital world while promoting trust, innovation, and cooperation in the interconnected age.
