United Nations Human Rights Council

The United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC) is an intergovernmental body established in 2006 to advance and protect human rights worldwide. Comprising 47 member states, the Council unites delegates from diverse countries who bring unique perspectives and policy insights to address pressing human rights concerns. These delegates work collaboratively through resolutions, dialogues, and recommendations, tackling issues such as oppression and exploitation, liberty, unlawful violence, and protection for vulnerable communities. By fostering international cooperation and accountability, UNHRC delegates are dedicated to building a global framework where justice, dignity, and equality are upheld as universal rights, transcending borders to create change.
